The new Food is Free wheels – Meet Bessie

Here we go. We’re taking Food is Free school to a new level! The universe brought a school bus into our lives. We drove her her back from San Antonio last week (at about 40mph, haha). Pulling her into the city limits was magical, the driveway was a little more difficult. Well, less than a week later we’ve already used her to put in her first garden and now she just got a little makeover.  Half of her seats are removed and she comes equipped with a wheelchair lift. Ready to be loaded with supplies and friends to line a block in front yard community gardens. Check out this video of her new paint job.
